A sad word...

Goodbyes...they just generally suck don't they?

That itsy bitsy feeling when your heart feels like cracking as you part ways; and those tears you keep holding back 'cause you still believe and hope you'll see them once more; and the empty surroundings they leave which you'll begin to stare at blankly; the echoes of laughter and the happy moments that equally pains and feels good to reminisce. Pains, because as much you'd like to go back in time and experience them all over again, it just won't happen. But then again, remembering also makes you glad. Glad that you're not old enough yet to forget and that even though the happiness of those days were just momentary, you still had the chance to taste it.

It's because moments create fragment of memories. And fragments of memories create bonds. Bonds which may be temporary or bonds that will last a lifetime. But bonds, no matter how temporary, are still bonds worth treasuring.

Everyday is indeed a gift no matter how it may suck sometimes. Just make the most out of it, although such can be easier said than done. For remembering is the best way to show you are grateful for the time one has given you.

But memories just sometimes slip away no matter how tightly you cling to them. It just happens. So be thankful when someone from long ago still remembers your face and your name. For forgetting is a whole lot easier than remembering.

Goodbyes...they aren't really forever right?

Casual goodbyes that is. It's a small world. Paths will always have crossroads. But then, there's a certain goodbye I fear to hear nor say. Since it means you'll never meet again. It's a goodbye people only get to say once. Or sometimes it becomes left unsaid. For...
